Description
Is made of untreated birch plywood. You do not need to mount the cottage permanently even if it is possible. Only the staircase needs glue (universal glue or wood glue) to stay in line while tramping up and down .
Get started
Start by gently tapping the parts of the stairs off the board. Then glue the stairs from the bottom up. While the glue dries, you can assemble the cottage once without glue and see where the glue should be added if you intend to use glue (universal glue or wood glue) . After the glue has dried, insert the step before putting the roof in place. Again you can glue the roof but the non-glued roof stays locked in place with “snow barriers”.
Demanding interior work such as decorative paints, curtain rod holders, panelling, etc. should be done (or are at least easier to do) before the final assembly of the Cottage. You can treat the cottage like a wooden object: varnish, wax, paint with acrylic paints, for example. It is not recommended to use too much water (it raises the hairs on the surface of the wood, it is treated by sanding, if this happens). Outside window sills, plinths, etc. are engraved. The groove helps to delimit different colors when painting. The cottage in photo I have painted with acrylics. More detailed instructions in the package.
Contains small parts – not suitable for children under 3 years.
